The SIG. P228 is a weapon in the Resident Evil 2 prototype.[1]
Gameplay[]
The handgun takes up one block of inventory space. It uses 9mm Parabellum Bullets, which can be reloaded into the gun manually by combining the two together. It can also be reloaded automatically by the character if the player has bullets in their inventory after emptying the clip.[1]
The handgun does light damage to enemies. Crows will die with one direct shot, while other enemies have a much higher resistance.[1]

The origin of the gun is unknown.
Development[]
A detail image of the SIG. P228 can be found on the BIOHAZARD 2 (Trial Edition). The image appears to be a rough draft and used as a placeholder. The gun is not directly accessible in-game.
